Guidelines for New Membership Registration (RCMC)
The Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) facilitates the registration of exporters under the Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) through an online process integrated with the DGFT portal.
All applicants seeking membership with CEPC are advised to follow the below guidelines for smooth and timely processing of their application:
Step 1: Apply through DGFT Portal
Applicants are required to submit their RCMC application online through the DGFT Portal by selecting Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) as the relevant Export Promotion Council. https://www.dgft.gov.in/CP/
login on DGFT → Services → Apply for E-RCMC → Make sure to select “Carpet Export Promotion Council” While choosing EPC.
After filling the the form the applicant must upload the documents as per follwing in upload section.
Step 2: Keep Required Documents Ready
Applicants must upload the following documents on the DGFT portal:
Basic Documents
- Importer Exporter Code (IEC)
- GST Registration Certificate
- PAN
Based on Membership Category
- Manufacturer / Merchant-cum-Manufacturer:Udyam Certificate with NIC Code 1393 (In case of Non-MSME units: The manufacturing activity must be clearly reflected in the GST Registration Certificate)
- Merchant Exporter:
No additional document required
Based on Constitution of Firm
- Proprietorship: PAN
- Partnership: Partnership Deed
- LLP: LLP Incorporation Documents
- Private Limited Company: MOA & AOA, Director Details with UDIN
Mandatory for All Applicants
Additional Information
- Star Export House Status:
Applicants claiming Star Export House status must upload the valid certificate.
- MSME Status:
The Applicants claiming MSME must upload the valid UDYAM Certificate of selected MSME Category
Step 3: Application Processing
- The application will be reviewed by CEPC based on the documents uploaded.
- In case of any discrepancy, the applicant will be notified through the DGFT portal to submit clarification or revised documents.
Step 4: Issuance of RCMC
- RCMC will be issued based on the documents uploaded on the DGFT portal, subject to completeness of the application.
Step 5: Submission of Physical Documents
- After issuance of RCMC, applicants are required to submit the all self attested document documents in original to CEPC:
- Timeline: Within 15 days from the date of issuance of RCMC
Step 6: Important Note
- Failure to submit the required original documents within the stipulated time may result in suspension of RCMC until verification is completed.
