CBFTE Scheme – Reimbursement of RCMC Fee

The Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) has been approved as an Implementation Agency under the Ministry of MSME’s scheme titled “Capacity Building of First Time MSE Exporters (CBFTE)” under the International Cooperation (IC) Scheme.

In this regard, CEPC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 20.4.26 with the Ministry of MSME for the implementation of the scheme.

Under the scheme, eligible Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) will be entitled to reimbursement of 75% of the Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) fee, for exporters with IEC not older than 3 years.

Eligibility Criteria: Members seeking reimbursement must fulfill the following conditions:

• Must be a Micro or Small Enterprise with a valid Udyam Registration
• Must have a valid Importer Exporter Code (IEC)
• IEC should not be older than 3 years on the date of export shipment
• Must hold a valid RCMC issued by CEPC (issued on or  after 20-04-2026)
• Must have carried out export shipment in the same financial year for which reimbursement is claimed

 

CEPC as the Implementation Agency for:

• Scrutiny and verification of applications and supporting documents
• Verification of export proof and eligibility conditions
• Submission of consolidated claims to the Ministry of MSME on a quarterly basis
• Disbursement of reimbursement to eligible exporters upon receipt of funds
