CEPC Announces Results of Elections of Chairperson and Vice Chairperson
Shri Mukesh Kumar Gombar Elected as Chairperson & Shri Aslam Mahboob Elected as Vice Chairperson
The Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) is pleased to announce the results of the Council’s Election 2025.
The election results were declared today at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Okhla, New Delhi, in the presence of member-exporters and Members of the Committee of Administration — Shri Aslam Mahboob, Shri Kuldeep Raj Wattal, Shri Bodh Raj Malhotra, Shri Deepak Khanna, Shri Husain Jafar Husaini, Shri Imtiaz Ahmad, Shri Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Shri Mehraj Yasin Jan, Shri Mohd. Wasif Ansari, Shri Piyush Kumar Baranwal, Shri Rohit Gupta, Shri Shaukat Khan, Shri Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad, and Shri Sanjay Kumar Gupta. Members of the Election Committee, Shri Onkar Nath Misra and Shri Umesh Kumar Gupta, were also present. The Returning Officer, Dr. Smita Nagarkoti, along with the Observer appointed by the Ministry, Dr. Sukhbir Singh Badhal, conducted and supervised the declaration of results in the presence of the scrutinizer.
The Council extends its warm congratulations to Capt. Mukesh Kumar Gombar and Shri Aslam Mahboob and looks forward to their guidance in leading CEPC towards new milestones.
The CEPC also expresses sincere appreciation to all members who participated in the election process and acknowledges the support of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of Commerce & Industries and NSDL for ensuring a transpa rent and seamless e-voting system.
